My wife and I live in far northeast Minnesota – for those of you who thought Minnesota deteriorated somewhere north of Duluth into something vaguely resembling an ice covered moon, you were wrong. Here among the woods and lakes we raise our four kids. I earned a Master of Divinity degree in 2011 from Bethel Seminary with a concentration in global and contextual studies, and soon after I was hired as an associate pastor and now serve as the Lead Pastor at a Baptist church in a wonderful community in the Northland. I am inspired by the idea that pastors ought to be good theologians, and good theologians ought to be pastors; so here is a place where the two intersect.
